The Java Jazz Festival Crowds

The Java Jazz Festival Crowds

Lot's of people came to see all that jazz in Java Jazz Festival 2009. Performers are certainly not what my lens only aim at :) For now let's enjoy watching the passer-byes of the festival.

The crowds on Java Jazz Festival 2009 is getting bigger and bigger. Is it a huge enthusiasm of jazz? I don't think so since most of them doesn't know the kind of songs what the players performs. The following text are not related to the above pictures ^_^

The situation I had last year when watching Indra Lesmana happens again on the stage of Quasimode. The majority from the audience wanted to see the performance while sitting on the ground and shouted 'kampungan' (low lifes) or 'woy duduk dong' (hey sit down) to the people who had stand up like me.

Listen you people who shouted, do you know what kind of music you will be listening? Yes there are stages who had set the tribune for people sit, but it suited to certain performers only. Dewa Budjana and Tohpati's songs is good to enjoy while sitting because in the end they performed slow pop songs. Harvey Mason's show got chairs already set up so people are indeed intended to be sitting. Kamal Musallam's stage is low so people can enjoy it sitting and still can see them. Quasimode stage is high if you are not blind and can see it, so you must be getting the idea if you are thinking at all even though you have no knowledge at all of their music.

Last year, Indra Lesmana's stage name was using 'Reborn' so you know that he will performing most of his song from the Reborn album. If you ever heard the album it's groovy and makes you want to dance. Even Indra asked or begged the super chill and cool sitting audience to get up and dance to the music.

This year, Quasimode's Yusuke have to ask the lowly motivated majority of audience to get up and dance. Still, some two bitches near me shouting people to sit. One of them said (yelling to be exact) that she paid the same amount as the people who had stand up and have the right to be sitting. Bitch, I pay to listen to Quasimode and not to some ugly fat shit fat (did I say fat twice?) like you.

Why on the first paragraph I wrote most of the people didn't know what kind of music they will be hearing is because of that. You would be crazy and stupid to ask people to sit while seeing the Lamb of God's concert tommorow night (do it and you'll break your neck) and you would still be crazy and stupid to do the same thing on Quasimode's concert.

That's all. Java Jazz Festival is great and amazing. Especially Quasimode, I love them!
