Nevermind The Computer, Here Comes The Router

D-Link's new wireless-N router have it's own many capabilities that includes a NAS device and it's own 3.2 inch LCD. The D-Link Xtreme N DIR-685 enables you to access your files anywhere, watch photo/video, and let the torrent files streaming.

When the NAS device is inserted with a 2.5 inch hard drive, it lets you access the hard drive's files from all over the home network or from the internet using D-Link's FTP server software. External devices like printers can also be shared across the network by plugging it into the router's USB port. The LCD shows informations like how's you torrent file is running from it's own bittorrent client sofware or just shows photos or articles from your selected RSS feeds. It definitely looks like home server and network attached storage products are going to be popular at CES this year
