I used Flickr's API to fetch my photo from it to this website. I decide to share it with anybody on Flickr who wants to view their picture in various background color by using this url format: http://luqmanmarzuki.com/on/color-name/your-picture-id
How to use my Flickr custom background is just write the name of the color you want to be the background, like black or blue or violet or any other colors. in the /color-name/ and use the image ID of the picture you want to show in the /your-picture-id space.
![]()
The image ID can be found on the url of the photo page, e.g. http://www.flickr.com/photos/mantosz/3295806312/. The bold numbers is the image ID.
Its pretty simple actually. You could use tinyurl.com service to make the address more short or customizable. I made the tinyurl.com link for the first two examples.
Examples
- luqmanmarzuki.com/on/black/3295806312 or tinyurl.com/testonblack
- luqmanmarzuki.com/on/red/3295806312 or tinyurl.com/testonred
- luqmanmarzuki.com/on/beige/3295806312
- luqmanmarzuki.com/on/violet/3295806312
- luqmanmarzuki.com/on/black/3293451202
- luqmanmarzuki.com/on/blue/3293451202
I will promise you that your full credit of the photo will be shown in the page metadata. To check this, right click the page and view the HTML source of the <meta> section. Your Flickr username will be shown as the rightful owner of the photo.
There are no catch for using my service. I am a Flickr member too and just wanted to share back to the community I loved. I certainly hope that this could be userful for you.
