Mirror's Edge

Mirror's Edge

I just played this new PC Game called the Mirror's Edge. At first glance, it feels like controlling Lara Croft in a first person view!  Especially for parkour lovers who just haven't been able to move the body right, this time you can feel how it's like to be one and a very good one that is.

In this game, you are controlling Faith, a "Runner" who delivers dangerous package by not taking the road as her route but leaping from building to buildings to achieve her missions. This duty requires delicate timing and precision action stunt, where it is highly recommended for the players to know exactly what key on his ir her keyboard to do what kind of action to do. Of course, you don't have to be that intense on learning the keyboard layout, but being able to do so, enchancing the beauty of the gameplay movements.

The enviroment maybe looks so vast and discouraging, but the help system on the gameplay can be pretty helpful. The system recommends good paths to follow by marking red colors but you also can go freely choosing your own. There are also one helpful button to use when you are absolutely don't know where to go; press that button, and the character will face the direction you must to go to.

I haven't finished the game yet, but it's very entertaining because it's like what I have said earlier, it's like playing Tomb Raider in a first person view. Oh yeah, you can use guns in this game, but it's way more cool to beat the enemy with awesome parkour stunts :)
